It’s wet and rainy outside. Conrad and I decided to stay in today, he would do so tutorial (but really, he’s just playing or watching people playing Diablos or Starcrafts 2. HAH busted!) and I would finish updating my blog. Actually, we planned to go to the Ueno zoo today but because of the rain. It’s probably a better idea to stay indoor.
We stayed at Tokyo for at least 2 weeks before activating our JR Pass to explore the other parts of Japan. What else have we done in Tokyo?
Never realized that it’s hard to keep a blog. It’s definitely a lot of work updating what I’m doing everyday. This is important for me for me to write down what I’m doing for my future self. It’s also nice to just send a link to friends so they know what’s up. Is a blog necessary? I mean, there’s other social media to keep in touch with everyone like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter (which is just a Instagram links haha)…etc. To be honest, I’m not good at writing. I’m terrified of writing. Grammar mistakes are everywhere haha, but that doesn’t matter. It’s important to just keep writing. I’ll get better at it in time, the more I do it. Well, moving on… I’ll try to recap what we’re been doing in Japan… (Oh! This will be fun :O).
Today we woke up pretty late, around 11am. That’s because we watched Catching Fire till 2am… We ate breakfast and went about doing our own thing on our computer. Conrad was either playing or watching Starcraft 2 and looking at google earth while I was catching up on Inari Kon Kon, Koi Iroha. I’m all up to date with the anime! After some morning chill time, we headed to Shinjuku. No more JRPass, which is quite a bummer.
Finally moved to a new place, it’s small but that’s Japan for you! We already met two of our roommates, one is from Australia teaching Business English here and the other is from France who’s here as an Biochem intern at Tokyo University. Our new place is 7 min from the Nippori station and is close to convenient stores and restaurants. Pretty cool. We also got 80,000yen knocked off because we are only staying here for a month.
